New Sub-Chapter executive committee elected for the tenure of 4 years (2075/79)


As per the statue of Nepal Red Cross Society a new executive committee is formed in the end of every 4 year by election. Like wise, Nepal Red Cross Society Ganabahal Sub-Chapter has elected it's fifth executive committee on Magh 2, 2075 B.S. for the tenure of next four years 2075/79.

The sitting president Mr. Amrit Narayan Manandhar was elected on the election held on Magh 2, 2075. By the same election Mr. Tej Narayan Manandhar, Ms. Laxmi Hera Shakya, Mr. Sangha Ratna Shakya, Mr. Pradeep manandhar, Mr. Bhakta Chandan Barahi, Mr. Saindhabir Tuladhar, Mrs. Ganga Regmi, Mr. Gautam Ratna Bajracharya and Mr. Purna Prasad Manandhar were elected as the Sub-chapter executive board members.

The newly elected board members took oath from the chief election commissioner Mr. Kalika Man Joshi.

The board meeting held on assigned Ms. Laxmi Hera Shakya as the Deputy President. Similarly, Mr. Tej Narayan Manandhar was nominated as Secretary, Mr. Saindhabir for the treasurer, Mr. Bhakta Chandan Barahi for Deputy Secretary and Mrs. Ganaga Regmi for Deputy Treasurer.

15 Sub-Chapter Assembly (Annual General Meeting) and inauguration of souvenir book

13 October 2018 – Nepal Red Cross Society, Ganabahal Sub-Chapter successfully held it's 15 Sub-Chapter assembly (Annual General Meeting) and Inaugurated the souvenir book namely “रेडक्रस आज” published by the sub-chapter in it's assembly at Hotel Yellow Pagoda, Jamal. The chief guest Mr. Ramesh Kumar Sharma former Chairman of Nepal Red Cross Society National Headquaters inaugurated the program along with present Secretary General Mr. Dev Ratna Dhakwa of Nepal Red Cross Society National Headquarters. The souvenir book was also inaugurated during the program by the chief guest Mr. Ramesh Kumar Sharma and Mr. Dev Ratna Dhakwa along with the dignitary guests Present president Mr. Mathura Ram Shrestha, Past President Mr. Mukund Bahadur Pradhan of NRCS Kathmandu District Chapter and former executive director Mr. Tirtha Raj Onta of NRCS NHQ’s. Representatives of various Sub-Chapters, Organizations, I/Ngo's were present in the program.

First aid team mobilized on the occasion of "Indrajatra"

24th September 2018 - On the first day of Indrajatra (one of the biggest religious street festival in Kathmandu) Nepal Red Cross Society, Ganabahal Sub-Chapter mobilized a first aid team in coordination with NRCS Kathmandu District Chapter which provided ambulance service and NRCS Mahabouddha Sub-Chapter which mobilized first aid volunteers.
The Sub-Chapter mobilized 12 first aid volunteers which included sub-chapter volunteer and volunteers of  Youth Red Cross Circle, Tri-Chandra Campus in the leadership of sub-chapter executive member Mr. Bhakta Chandan Barahi. The team was mobilized from 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm (7 hrs) in order to provide first aid service.

First aid team mobilized on "Rishi Panchami"

14th September 2018 - On the occasion of Rishi Panchami, Nepal Red Cross Society Ganabahal Sub-Chapter organized a first aid camp at Risheshwor Temple - 12, Kathmandu. The first aid team assisted Community Health Center of K.M.C Ward no 12 in which 1 was severe case (refered to Bir Hospital via ambulance of NRCS Kathmandu District Chapter).

First aid camp during month of shrawan

On the occassion of Teej, Nepal Red Cross Society Ganabahal Sub-Chapterorganized a first aid camp at Makhan Mahadev-24, Kathmandu. More than 100 people benefited in which 57 were treated at first aid booth, 17 were serious in which 1 was emergency case (rushed to hospital via Nepal police jeep).

World Blood Donors Day

14th June 2018 - On the occasion of "World Blood Donor Day" NRCS Ganabahal Sub-Chapter organized a blood donation program with technical support from Blood collection unit (Grande International Hospital). Total of 67 pint was collected in which 39 male and 28 female donors donated their blood. The program was held at Basantapur-23, Kathmandu from 2:00 - 6:00 pm.
