स्थानीय तहको निर्वाचन २०७९

२०७९ बैशाख ३० गते सम्पन्न भएको स्थानीय तहको निर्वाचनमा यस उपशाखाबाट काठमाडौं माहानगरपालिका वडा नं १२, १९, २०, २१, २२, २३ को सबै मतदान केन्द्रहरुमा प्राथमिक उपचार टोलि उपशाखाका उपसचिवको नेतृत्वमा परिचालित भएको थियो।

परिचालनको क्रममा सबै मतदान केन्द्रको निरीक्षण गर्दै केही केन्द्रमा आवश्यक सहयोग गरेको र केन्द्रका मतदान अधिकृतहरु संग छलफल गरिएको थियो। उक्त स्थानीय तहको निर्वाचन शान्तिपुर्ण वातावरणमा सम्पन्न भएको र सामान्य चोटपटकलाई प्राथमिक उपचार गर्दै सम्पन्न भएको थियो।

Blood Donor and Blood Donation Motivation Program organized by NRCS Ganabahal SC

12 February 2020 – Nepal Red Cross Society Ganabahal Sub-Chapter with support from National Public Health Laboratory (NPHL) and NRCS Central Blood Transfusion Service (CBTS) organized a "Blood Donor and Blood Donation Motivation Program" at Sankata Co-Operative building, Yengal – 21, Kathmandu in which 52 representatives from various organizations, colleges and hospitals participated in the program.

Highlights of the program

The program was hosted by Mr. Bhakta Chandan Barahi, Dy Secretary of NRCS Ganabahal Sub-Chapter with Mr. Amrit Narayan Manandhar, President of NRCS Ganabahal Sub-Chapter delivering welcoming remarks. The program was divided into two sessions in which an open platform for participants to ask queries regarding the presented subjects were held after each session.

In first session facilitator Dr. Rekha Manandhar, Senior Consultant of National Public Health Laboratory (NPHL) facilitated about the blood, it's components, usage, eligible criteria for blood donation along with the practice of safer blood transfusion system in context of Nepal where as in second session Dr. Manita Rajkarnikar, Director of NRCS Central Blood Transfusion Service (CBTS) facilitated about the history and  present situation of blood transfusion service in Nepal along with the importance of blood donation, blood donors and the important role played by various organizations in conducting blood donation programs in an effort to minimize the shortage of blood and it's components.

After the ending of each sessions, during open platform altogether 9 participants interacted with the facilitators covering various topics relating to the blood, its management, problems faced by individuals in both normal and emergency situations due to unavailability of blood, proper information technology (IT) and data base management in context of blood transfusion service centers, issues faced while conducting blood donation programs, lack of enhanced technologies and skilled manpower like that of developed countries, price and costing of blood and its components in which the facilitators solved the queries of the participants.

The program was ended with the closing remarks of Mr. Amrit Manandhar, President NRCS Ganabahal Sub-Chapter.

कोरोना भाइरसबारे बसन्तपुर-२३, काठमाडौंमा जनचेतनामुलक कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न

२६ माघ २०७६ - युवा रेडक्रस सर्कल नोबेल कलेजको आयोजना नेरेसो केन्द्रिय कार्यालय, नेरेसो काठमाडौं जिल्ला शाखा, नेरेसो पशुपति-बौद्ध उपशाखा र नेरेसो गणबहाल उपशाखाको सहयोगमा कोरोना भाइरसबारे बसन्तपुर-२३, काठमाडौंमा जनचेतनामुलक कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न भएको छ। 

उक्त जनचेतनामूलक कार्यक्रममा युरेस नोबेल कलेजका स्वयंसेवक विद्यार्थीहरुद्वारा निर्मित भिडियो प्रस्तुत गर्नुको साथै विभिन्न पाठ्य सामाग्री वितरण गर्दै हात धुने ७ बिधिबारे प्रस्तुतीकरण गरिएको थियो। कार्यक्रम लगभग २ घन्टा सम्म संचालन गर्ने क्रममा अनुमानित ५०-७० जना विद्यार्थी, सर्बसाधन लगायत स्थानीयहरुले कोरोना भाइरसको जोखिमबाट सुरक्षीत रहने बिधिबारे जानकारी प्राप्त गरे। सो कार्यक्रममा नोबेल कलेजका शिक्षक, नेरेसो बालाजु उपशाखा र नेरेसो गणबहाल उपशाखाका प्रतिनिधि तथा पदाधिकारीहरुको उपस्थिति रहेको थियो।

New Sub-Chapter executive committee elected for the tenure of 4 years (2075/79)

As per the statue of Nepal Red Cross Society a new executive committee is formed in the end of every 4 year by election. Like wise, Nepal Red Cross Society Ganabahal Sub-Chapter has elected it's fifth executive committee on Magh 2, 2075 B.S. for the tenure of next four years 2075/79.

The sitting president Mr. Amrit Narayan Manandhar was elected on the election held on Magh 2, 2075. By the same election Mr. Tej Narayan Manandhar, Ms. Laxmi Hera Shakya, Mr. Sangha Ratna Shakya, Mr. Pradeep manandhar, Mr. Bhakta Chandan Barahi, Mr. Saindhabir Tuladhar, Mrs. Ganga Regmi, Mr. Gautam Ratna Bajracharya and Mr. Purna Prasad Manandhar were elected as the Sub-chapter executive board members.

The newly elected board members took oath from the chief election commissioner Mr. Kalika Man Joshi.

The board meeting held on assigned Ms. Laxmi Hera Shakya as the Deputy President. Similarly, Mr. Tej Narayan Manandhar was nominated as Secretary, Mr. Saindhabir for the treasurer, Mr. Bhakta Chandan Barahi for Deputy Secretary and Mrs. Ganaga Regmi for Deputy Treasurer.

15 Sub-Chapter Assembly (Annual General Meeting) and inauguration of souvenir book

13 October 2018 – Nepal Red Cross Society, Ganabahal Sub-Chapter successfully held it's 15 Sub-Chapter assembly (Annual General Meeting) and Inaugurated the souvenir book namely “रेडक्रस आज” published by the sub-chapter in it's assembly at Hotel Yellow Pagoda, Jamal. The chief guest Mr. Ramesh Kumar Sharma former Chairman of Nepal Red Cross Society National Headquaters inaugurated the program along with present Secretary General Mr. Dev Ratna Dhakwa of Nepal Red Cross Society National Headquarters. The souvenir book was also inaugurated during the program by the chief guest Mr. Ramesh Kumar Sharma and Mr. Dev Ratna Dhakwa along with the dignitary guests Present president Mr. Mathura Ram Shrestha, Past President Mr. Mukund Bahadur Pradhan of NRCS Kathmandu District Chapter and former executive director Mr. Tirtha Raj Onta of NRCS NHQ’s. Representatives of various Sub-Chapters, Organizations, I/Ngo's were present in the program.

First aid team mobilized on the occasion of "Indrajatra"

24th September 2018 - On the first day of Indrajatra (one of the biggest religious street festival in Kathmandu) Nepal Red Cross Society, Ganabahal Sub-Chapter mobilized a first aid team in coordination with NRCS Kathmandu District Chapter which provided ambulance service and NRCS Mahabouddha Sub-Chapter which mobilized first aid volunteers.
The Sub-Chapter mobilized 12 first aid volunteers which included sub-chapter volunteer and volunteers of  Youth Red Cross Circle, Tri-Chandra Campus in the leadership of sub-chapter executive member Mr. Bhakta Chandan Barahi. The team was mobilized from 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm (7 hrs) in order to provide first aid service.

14th September 2018 - On the occasion of Rishi Panchami, Nepal Red Cross Society Ganabahal Sub-Chapter organized a first aid camp at Risheshwor Temple - 12, Kathmandu. The first aid team assisted Community Health Center of K.M.C Ward no 12 in which 1 was severe case (refered to Bir Hospital via ambulance of NRCS Kathmandu District Chapter).

First aid camp during month of shrawan

On the occassion of Teej, Nepal Red Cross Society Ganabahal Sub-Chapterorganized a first aid camp at Makhan Mahadev-24, Kathmandu. More than 100 people benefited in which 57 were treated at first aid booth, 17 were serious in which 1 was emergency case (rushed to hospital via Nepal police jeep).

World Blood Donors Day

14th June 2018 - On the occasion of "World Blood Donor Day" NRCS Ganabahal Sub-Chapter organized a blood donation program with technical support from Blood collection unit (Grande International Hospital). Total of 67 pint was collected in which 39 male and 28 female donors donated their blood. The program was held at Basantapur-23, Kathmandu from 2:00 - 6:00 pm.

Emergency blood donation program

8th May 2018 - Nepal Red Cross Society Ganabahal Sub-Chapter organized Emergency Blood Donation program with technical support from NRCS Central Blood Transfusion Centre (CBTS). As, Kathmandu valley is facing crisis due to shortage of blood. CBTS have appealed to many blood donation program organizers i.e institutions to conduct blood donation programs in order to minimize the blood shortage within the valley. Thus, NRCS Ganabahal Sub-Chapter by viewing shortage of blood in the CBTS organized "Emergency Blood Donation Program" at Basantapur from 2:00 - 7:00 pm.

First aid mobile team on the occassion of "Seto Macchendranath Jatra"

मिती २०७४ चैत्र ११ देखी १५ गते सम्म भएको "सेतो मछेन्द्रनाथ" रथ जत्राका अवसरमा नेरेसो गण्बाहाल उपशाखाले १३ देखी १५ गते सम्म आफ्नो कार्यछेत्रमा प्रथमिक उपचारका लागि स्वयम्सेवकहरु परिचलन गरिएको थियो।
On the occassion of "Seto macchendranath rath" Jatra from 2074 chaitra 11 to 15, NRCS Ganabahal Sub-Chapter mobilized first aid volunteers within its working area from chaitra 13-15.

14th Sub-Chapter Assembly

Nepal Red Cross society, Ganabahal Sub-Chapter's 14 assembly was held on 2074 Magh 23, Friday. Chief guest Mr. Indra Man Suwal (Chief) Disaster Management Department of Kathmandu Metropolitan City along with Mr. Chinikaji Maharjan (Chairperson) Ward no 22, Mr. Udaya Chudamani Bajracharya (Chairperson) Ward no 21, Mr. Uttam Maharjan representative from NRCS Kathmandu District Chapter along with representatives of various Sub-Chapters were present in the program.

Notice regarding 14th Sub-Chapter Assembly

First aid team mobilized during federal and provincial level election.

On date 7th December 2017, Nepal Red Cross Society Ganabahal Sub-Chapter mobilized a first aid mobile team to monitor the election booth in it's working area (ward no 19, 21, 22, 23 & 24) of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

On date 17th and 18th November 2017 NRCS Ganabahal Sub-Chapter mobilized a first aid team to participate in a motor cycle rally from Kathmandu to Nuwakot. Overall 250 participants participated in the rally where as 18 participants received first aid service during two day and one night trip.

Blood Donation Program

On 1st November 2017, Nepal Red Cross Society Ganabahal Sub-Chapter in coordination with Sunrise Bank organized blood donation camp in which 87 unit blood was collected. We thank all the blood donors, volunteers as well as coordinating organization for their valuable support.

Blood donation and first aid camp on the occasion of Nepal Sambat 1138

On the occasion of "Nepal Sambat 1138" NRCS Ganabahal Sub-Chapter mobilized First aid Camp along with Blood Donation camp in coordination with Lyaku Saving and Credit Cooperative at Basantapur. 103 Pint blood was collected from the blood donation camp.

55 Nepal Red Cross Day (2073-05-19)

Chief Guest Mr. Bidya Sundar Shakya (Mayor KMC), Hariprabha Khagdi (Deputy mayor KMC), ward chairpersons and members of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City ward no (11,19,20,21,22,23) were present at the event to celebrate 55 Nepal Red Cross Day. Nepal Red Cross Society Ganabahal Sub-Chapter organized Free Health check up in coordination with Kathmandu Valley Hospital, Blood donation program was also organized and Dr. Amrita Pradhan (Rotary Club of Chandragiri) gifted streacher and Medical equipments to Ganabahal sub-chapter. All together 800 guests i.e. Red Cross Volunteers, Staffs, Members along with representative of various donor agencies were present in the event.
